• Advised the Walton-Penner Family on acquiring the Denver Broncos for US$4.65 billion, the second-highest-value acquisition of a professional sports team at the time.
• Represented a consortium led by Josh Harris in acquiring the Washington Commanders for US$6.05 billion, the highest-value sports franchise transaction in US history at the time.
• Counseled Tom Gores on acquiring a 27% stake in the LA Chargers.
• Assisted the Pohlad Family with a restructuring and substantial minority investment in the Minnesota Twins by marquee investor groups.
• Guided the Edwards family in acquiring a substantial minority interest in the MLS Columbus Crew.
• Supported the Morgan family in purchasing a limited partnership interest to join Major League Baseball’s Philadelphia Phillies ownership group.

Strategic Collaborations and Sponsorships

• Advised Fenway Sports Group and a consortium of American sports team owners on a US$3 billion financial and strategic collaboration with PGA TOUR enterprises.
• Assisted Oracle in acquiring the naming rights to the San Francisco Giants baseball stadium, becoming the title sponsor for Red Bull Racing, and becoming the English Premier League’s official cloud provider.

Expansion and New Team Acquisitions

• Represented Rob Cohen in acquiring expansion rights to a new NWSL team, the Denver Summit, and related consortium matters.
• Advised Joe Tsai and Blue Pool Capital on purchasing a Las Vegas-based expansion National Lacrosse League team.

Sales and Restructuring

• Counseled the Paul Allen Estate on the sale of the Portland Trail Blazers to Tom Dundon.
• Advised Mikhail Prokohorov on the acquisition and subsequent sale of the Brooklyn Nets and the Barclays Center, as well as the acquisition of Webster Hall and the Nassau Coliseum.
• Assisted the San Antonio Spurs with a strategic investment from Sixth Street and Michael Dell, and the repurchase of equity interests from 13 investors and a related reorganizational transaction.

Private Investment and Fund Transactions

• Guided Arctos on its approval as an NBA member and acquiring a minority interest in the Golden State Warriors, marking the first transaction in the NBA involving a private investment fund.
• Represented Levine Leichtman Capital Partners in acquiring the San Diego Wave Fútbol Club, NWSL Franchise.
• Assisted Presidio Investors in acquiring Hellas Verona, an Italian Serie A soccer club.

• Advised Roku on acquiring TOH Intermediate Holdings and Quibi Holdings.
